Escort and Attendant Services

The transportation provider shall allow one (1) escort or trip attendant to accompany a recipient or group of recipients when it is medically necessary. Children who are 13 or under must be accompanied by an adult. The need may arise for a legal guardian or parent of a minor parent to accompany them for certain activities. the transportation provider cannot charge the recipient or the escort of the recipient for this service.
