What can I do if my application is denied?
You may appeal within 60 days of the decision
Who will review my appeal?
Your appeal will be reviewed by the Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities.
How will I be notified regarding my appeal?
You will receive a written notification of the date and time of your scheduled hearing.
Is there a charge for an Attendant?
A personal care attendant or a companion may ride free.
Will GRITS pick me up at my door?
GRITS provides a curb-to-curb service.
Can my service animal accompany me?
Service animals are permitted as needed at no extra charge.
How many times can I schedule in a day?
There are no limits.
What is a "subscription service"?
Subscription service is when you arrange services for standing appointments, such as dialysis on Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM every week.
Are individuals with temporary disabilities eligible for services?
Yes.
When are the services available?
We use the same hours as OTS's fixed-route services.
